PE is not just about teaching sports, or playing games, or even having kids exercise. At Oakwood, our PE program motivates students to engage in social activity, adhere to rules, set goals, learn about themselves, and promote interests in new activities. We hold students to a high standard of behavior and performance because they enjoy achieving a higher standard and benefit more because of those expectations. We want all of our students to improve themselves while transitioning from elementary to secondary education, and we will help them toward that goal.
